Midwest Evaluation has assembled a team of senior-level social scientists. Collectively, this team has over 100 years of experience in community psychology, public administration, economic development, program management, and adult education with a focus on research, program evaluation, policy analysis, and technical assistance. The Midwest Evaluation team is prepared to help its partner non-profit organizations successfully compete for federal funding by utilizing its full complement of employees, consultants, and strategic relationships to implement projects of any scale.
Chelsea Knight, AAS
Chelsea Knight is from Lebo, Kansas, and moved to Emporia to pursue a degree from Flint Hills Technical College. She completed her associate's degree in hospitality and culinary arts. She currently serves at Midwest Evaluation as an Contracts Manager and brings to this position a variety of skills and experience acquired over the years while working in an array of positions and fields.
Jenna Hinderliter, MS
Jenna Hinderliter graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Science in criminal justice and a graduate certificate in crime analysis and prevention. As a former crime analyst, she has experience working with various crime-related topics in both academic and law enforcement settings. Her expertise resides in crime analysis, crime mapping, criminological theory, and general data analysis. Jenna supports Midwest Evaluation and Research as a data specialist and assists with the various projects taken on by the data analytics team. She looks forward to expanding her analysis skills while having the opportunity to work toward a cause that she is passionate about.
Olivia Jacobo, MSEd
Olivia Jacobo earned her BA in history and her MSEd at Rowan University. With over nine years of experience and several technical certificates, Olivia brings her diligence, efficiency, and digital prowess to MER. In her role as an operations support specialist, she serves communities by connecting nonprofits to their Hispanophone clientele and conducting study participant surveys in both English and Spanish.
Cherub Nicholls is a tracking assistant with Midwest Evaluation, where she interacts with English and Spanish-speaking participants. Before joining MER, Cherub worked as a Spanish medical interpreter, traveled often, and lived abroad.
Mariah Michaelis, BS
Mariah Michaelis is from Hutchinson, Kansas, and earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Emporia State University. She is currently continuing her education at Emporia State University and is working toward earning her Master of Science in school psychology. She currently serves at Midwest Evaluation and Research as a tracking research assistant and offers support wherever needed. Prior to MER, she had over nine years of customer service experience intertwined within a multitude of industries and eventually found a passion for advocating and bettering the lives of at-risk individuals. She is eager to expand her knowledge of not-for-profits, as well as her knowledge of research and evaluation, while at MER.
Megan Newman is from Goddard, Kansas, and moved to Emporia to pursue a BS in psychology with a concentration in art at Emporia State University. She then plans to pursue an MS in art therapy at Emporia State University. She currently serves at Midwest Evaluation as a tracking assistant, and she is eager to expand her knowledge and offer support wherever it is needed.
Kamryn Dold is from Emporia, Kansas. She joins Midwest Evaluation as a tracking assistant, conducting participant surveys. She is eager to provide help wherever she can and learn new things every day.
Scarlett Ocasio, BA
Scarlett Ocasio is originally from Arizona and currently calls Washington her home. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Full Sail University, where she studied creative writing for entertainment. Scarlett joins the MER team as a tracking assistant and hopes to help make an impact with the company.
Kinverly Figueroa is a student at Emporia State University working toward her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting degree as well as a minor in Spanish. Kinverly has a seal of biliteracy (English and Spanish). As MER's office assistant, she demonstrates her skills in organization and financial organization, and she always ready to help her fellow co-workers.
