In recent years, Midwest Evaluation has developed an expertise in the field of Implementation Science, or how evidence-based practices and programs are implemented in real world settings. Dr. Shepherd has authored several groundbreaking reports that have explored the organizational characteristics, activities, and processes (known as “implementation drivers”) that facilitate the successful implementation of programs and practices.
As a Taskforce Chairman for the Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) Evidenced-Based Practice Advisory Committee, Dr. Shepherd was asked to lead an effort to identify “best practices” and “evidence-based practices” in regard to mental health peer support programs. Dr. Shepherd led a group of professionals in examining published research and literature for the documentation of best practices.
Midwest Evaluation can help your organization implement the most appropriate programs and practices possible to enhance the impact you have with your clients.
